I came across several Blanchard tombstone inscriptions while researching some New Hampshire families. They included: Village Cemetery, Peterborough, N.H. David Blanchard. died June 9, 1889, ae 75 yr, 8 m. Mary, wife of Cyrus Blanchard, died Aug. 4, 1872, ae 91 yrs, 7 mos. Cyrus Blanchard, died Mar. 31, 1851, ae 70 years, 5 mos., 21 dys. Elizabeth Blanchard, 1826-1867 William Blanchard, died Apr. 23, 1861, ae 44 yrs, 9 mos. (These graves are on the plot of Isaac Edes, died Oct. 26, 1859, ae 64 yrs, 3 mos., and Elizabeth M., wife of Isaac Edes, died Oct. 8, 1873, ae 80 yrs, 3 mos.) Grave of James Blanchard, lot 325, no stone Grave of James Blanchard, lot 365, no stone Charlotte P., wife of Willard Blanchard, died Dec. 13, 1844, ae 47. Willard Blanchard, died Feb. 2, 1845, ae 49. (These graves are on the plot of Sargent Bohonan, Sept. 24, 1811-May 13, 1899, and wives Roxanne Blood, July 4, 1810- Jan. 24, 1870, and Elizabeth B. Cudworth, May 13, 1827- Apr. 3, 1879.) I also noted in the Pembroke, N.H., Vital Records, the marriage of Abel Blanchard and Molly Eastman, both of Concord, Feb. 19, 1784. Index: David 1889 d.
