Awhile back I got a couple of tips from Sue B and John Chandler that my Randall H. Blanchard, b. 1792 at Foster, R.I., was mentioned in "The Blanchards of Rhode Island." I got a copy from Higginson, and sure enough! Not only Randall, but his wife Barbary. She wasn't known to be his wife, but in the "Unplaced Blanchards" section, P.164, it says a Barbary Blanchard sold some property to Matthew Blanchard and another parcel to Thomas Blanchard in 1814 and 1815. Randall had two brothers named Matthew and Thomas, and this would've been about the time Randall and Barbary sold out and moved to Ohio. I'm thrilled to make this connection! Thanks, John and Sue!
