Hello Everyone: My name is Lynda Blanchard and I have been here for awhile but just reading everything that came to me. I am one of the Canadian Blanchard's people have been asking about. I will try and get the info I have on here with-in the next few months but Christmas will likely interrupt my efforts. I have many histories written in story form and am trying to get all names and dates pulled out of them. A John Saigon Blanchard trekked overland to Greenbush Ontario Canada in 1790. He was married to Abigail Waite. At this moment I have no other information about them. I do know where they are both buried it is a private Blanchard cemetary in Greenbush that the family keeps up still. He had a son John Blanchard born 25-01-? married first Anna Olds on 18-01-1838. Their children Amos Waite 17-09-1840 John Calvin 05-08-1852 Anna Olds died 17-09-1866 John married second Sarah Steacy they had Bertha born in 1877. Sarah died 01-01-1918. John Blanchard then died 24-12-1908 and he and both wives are buried in Greenbush in the private cemetary. John Calvin married first Doretta Amelia Slack born 02-02-1858 she died 21-02-1886. Their children Clara Ethel born 05-10-1876 died 08-05-1959 husband Percy Place. 2. Rosco Calvin born 18-08-1879 died 23-02-1954 wife Lillian Davis 3. Anna Grace born 10-06-1883 died 17-01-1968 husband Manford Davis John Calvin married second Letitia Wiltse Rogers born in 1852 died in 17-09-1932 Their children Arthur Carlyle born 05-05-1889 died 11-01-1947 wife Keitha Peterson 2. Louis Kenneth born 1892 wife Gertrude Davis. Arthur Carlyle Blanchard and Keitha Peterson's children were 1. Eldon Morris born 08-11-1913 still living. 2. Zella Velma born ?-10-1916 died in infancy ?-09-1917 3. Charlie Arthur born 21-08-1918 wife Gertrude Kelly still living. Eldon Morris Blanchard married Marion Helena Mckay born 10-06-1912 died 09-04-1995 Their children 1. Kenneth Arnold born 28-02-1940 2. Shirley Jean born 07-03-1944 3. Ronald George born 17-07-1945 married Charlotte Covlin in 1972 4. Helen Marion born 17-09-1951 married Granett Hogg 05-05-1973. Kenneth Arnold Blanchard married first Joan Edith Wiltse born 15-01-1939 their wedding day 10-09-1960 their children are 1. Lynda Pearl born 28-04-1961 (me) 2. Marion Ruth born 18-04-1963 married Thomas Dixon 3. June Roseanne born 23-06-1964 married Thomas Ferguson. 4. Arthur Eldon Hubert born 24-01-1966 died 06-05-1989.
