Kathy Anne Blanchard Youngblood --------------------- Forwarded message: From: caaron@MNSi.Net (Carole Schauber) To: Blanchard-L@rootsweb.com Date: 97-12-01 00:40:36 EST Hi to all, I have been lurking in the background for the last 9 months learning all I can, and there is much to learn. This list is fortunate to have exceptionally knowledgeable contributors. I would like to first thank Rannie for his guidance, I was up that tree but didn't know which branch my twig belonged on. Sherry for her relentless digging and sharing I have enjoyed immensely, and Chandler for his patience, he never forgets that many of us are new to genealogy, computers and to Internet, his explanations and accuracy, especially those funny dates have helped me a great deal. Now for the questions. How do you keep all this data straight, what program, do you use? I desperately need some type of system for organizing everything. I have some in MS Word, some in Excel, some (direct lines) in family tree maker. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would also be interested in any information on Amos Blanchard (the Andover schoolmaster, whose house is now the museum of Andover Historical Society) and his brothers and sisters, I believe two of his brothers John and Aaron came to Greenbush, Leeds County Ont. in 1800 Thanks to all the contributors for making this list interesting and fun.
