Hi all- Noticed the dicussion of the Phebe/ Laban thing. I was reading through the Blanchard of RI last night looking for my ancestors and noticed that there were four Phebes. Jeremiah had a second wife whose name oddly enough was also Phebe. Strange thing. Your writings are accurate if mine are. I am going to the Buffalo and Erie County Library this weekend. Have an appointment to look into the Blanchard papers. I am specifically looking for the Levi Johnson Blanchard, Son of Samuel II who was my ggrandfathers father. Then I will look for the William info. My line is from Moses/Ann Whaley whose lineage is not followed through in the Blanchard Bk. In my reading last night- saw the Shoemaker info- will send to list asap.From various sources on the net, I have gleaned alot of this family. I am trying to organize all data, then will post as I can. I am primarily focusing on the RI line- have not connected to MA line (Thomas) yet.
