There is a Tinney-Blanchard Reunion held each year on the last Saturday in June. The date this year is June 24, 2000. It is held at the Beverly Hall in Sylacauga, Alabama. This is the Talladega Co., Blanchards. The hall is open at 10 AM for getting to know everyone and lunch is at one PM. Everyone is ask to bring a dish to go with the meat that will be supplied. The first Blanchard that we know was William N. Blanchard born 1812 or 1818 in North Carolina. His parents are not yet known. He married Elizabeth Hudson. Other names in the family are Ledbetter, Butts, Tinney, Roberson, Hudson and others.
