Her birth is not found in the vital records of Norton -- for some reason, only the three eldest sons are entered there. However, her parentage is firmly established by the probate file of her father, as reported by Pat Curry -- there is a list of recipients in the division of the estate, and that list includes "eldest daughter Abigail, wife of Solomon Morse." By the way, Walpole did not exist in 1720. Solomon was born in the town of Dedham (from which Walpole split off in 1724) on 1720 May 3, per the vital records of Dedham. John Chandler
