I have a possible match, but the age is a little bit of a stretch. There was a Hannah Reed of Scituate, Mass who married David Blanchard of Abington on 1816 Aug 1 at Abington. If she is the same Hannah that shows up in the census in Madison, then she was either fibbing about her age in 1850 or was very young to be marrying in 1816. There are scads of David Blanchards who were born in the 1790's in New England, but I don't know of one in particular who would have been living in Abington in 1816 and then moved to Maine. I have also looked around for a Hannah Reed born in the Scituate area in the 1790's and didn't come across one. Maybe if I changed the time range to include 1800 and 1801 I might find someone, but the marriage and the intention filed at Scituate are all I have at the moment. John
