Hi All, On June 5, 1998 I received an e-mail from Eulea Davenport inquiring as to whether we might descend from the same Joshua Blanchard from Washington, NH. She was very interested in learning the origins of our Rhoda Colby who she had been told was an "indian girl". It was after her contact I found our Rhoda, and gladly shared this find with my new cousin. Since that time we shared info, gedcom's photo's etc back and forth. Eulea was very interested in seeing the combined gedcom of our lines. Unfortunately she had to wait on us younger members to get our acts together. Even more unfortunately she was not given the time it took us. I finally sent off my package to Eulea three days ago only to receive this message today. I am forwarding this message to the list for several reasons. First, I wanted Eulea to be preserved in our data base Descendants of Charles Warren Blanchard Generation No. 1 1. Secondly, I wanted to send this reminder that we never know how much time we are given to accomplish our tasks. I am consoled by my belief that Eulea now has the answers to the questions we all seek. I am thankful that I was given two months to learn from her of our western cousins and to receive her gedcom. Eulea will be buried two months to the day from our first contact.
