The History of Woodstock says Marcia BLANCHARD was the daughter of John BLANCHARD and Persis HARWOOD (John's 3rd wife). She was born 1747 Jan 14 at Sutton, MA, daughter of David, and she there married John BURLEY of Union, CT (called Burleigh in the History). She next married John BLANCHARD in 1785 and died 1814 Feb 7. John died 1822 Feb 7, aged 85, apparently at Union, CT. Also, apparently, he lived in the towns of Brooklyn, Windham, and Hampton before moving to Woodstock, and the History doesn't offer anything on his parentage. John Chandler
