Hi group! I am looking for further information on a Frederick Blanchard [Jotham, Jotham, Simon, John, Samuel, Thomas] b. 5 Oct 1805 Lyndeborough, Hillsborough Co., NH. He married in Boston before 1830 to Mary or Elizabeth Cooper. I am interested in further information about her. The above information comes from a Blanchard bible still in the possession of some of the family in Baton Rouge, where this couple moved prior to 1850. I happened to find in the Charlestown VRs a Frederick Blanchard, then of Charlestown, MA, who married Elizabeth Gaw Cooper also of Charlestown, 31 Jan 1828 in Charlestown. Her parents' names are not given. Is this couple familiar to any of you? Could the Charlestown couple be the couple I'm looking for? It's tempting to think so, but obviously it's pretty circumstantial. Any and all suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Maggie
