Bonsoir, The dates look okay for a tie-in, but I never heard of that birthplace for JOHN. Where did you get that info? I don't have ANY info on a branch which went south that early. As a matter of fact, Benjamin Blanchard of Nansemond Co has come up for discussion a couple times on this list. Searching on the keyword Nansemond ought to find the stuff. The conclusion was that he was most likely the son of another Blanchard who had also settled in Virginia, and neither one had any connection to the Massachusetts Blanchards. John Chandler
