The following is a web site to search for unclaimed property. There is no charge, it has a search engine & you can search by surnames or whole names, it's supposedly the best site & covers all states. Monies &/or property is from govt sources, banks, ins co, etc. & ranges from $1.00 into thousands of dollars. I've seen one at $6650. & that person had 14 more places holding $ or valuables. Safe deposit boxes have no value listed. Two members of my family found $ - one from deceased person that never mentioned it & one living person that wasn't aware $ was owed them. Appears to be alphabetical when searching surnames but it isn't, so scroll the whole list. Site seems to be slow but it's worth the wait.
