Bonjour, I have Deacon John's (son of JOSEPH and ANN, progenitor immigrant ancestors) will as printed in the 1906 Granite Monthly. It is a little long to put out to the list, so if anyone wants a copy sent to her/him, email me, and I'll send it individually. I also have a photocopy of the original, handwritten will, but it is very hard to read. The will was signed in 1692/3, apparently when he was ill, as he signed it with his initials only. Since he was a deacon of the Dunstable, MA, church, I assume he was literate, but could be wrong.Does anyone know of a document which he signed or have any proof that he could write?
