Hi, Vicki, and welcome to the list. I have your Joseph as the son of Joseph & Priscilla (Smith) Blanchard. He was born in Stoughton, MA, according to the vital records, one day later than you have. He married apparently in Mansfield, MA, though the Stoughton vitals also list the marriage (but on Nov 14). The marriage intention filed at Stoughton listed the bride as "Salome Welmon." Only one child was recorded in Mass. (Asa in 1775) before the family moved north (first to Colrain, according to Pat Curry, and then to Jamaica, VT, by 1785).
