Crawford Hartman, Assistant Librarian John (Jean, Jan) BLANCHARD m. Suzanne REZEAU..Suzanne's father was Rene Rezeau. "Rene REZEAU, mason of the Isle de Re, fled from there with his family after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes." (Baird's Hug. Emig. to Amer. v.I,p.305) John Blanchard Jr., son of John and Suzanne, married Marie Joline, dau. of Andrew Joline. "Andrew Joline, French Huguenot, came to this country from Saint Palais, a seaport in Saintonge, France. He married (2nd) mary Trotter b. 1654, in Newbury, Mass....Had a daughter: Marie (Mary) Joline; married John Blanchard, Jr. (Hug: var. pag.; Col. & Rev. Fams of Phila. 1933, v.I, p. 56.) I assume these BLANCHARDS to be Huguenots...It seems they were marrying Huguenots... I JUST WANT TO KNOW MORE!!!!!!! Cynthia Sheehan
