I used to think so, too, but Pat Curry has evidence of both Martha and Nathaniel. This was posted to the list by Tom Wilde in a collection of info from Pat on Jan 20. This would be an ideal opportunity to suggest that anybody wanting to see the details go and find the message on the Rootsweb server, except that they still don't have any 1998 messages on the web. They are in the archives, though, and you can order stuff quite easily via e-mail, so I will give here a reminder of how to do that instead of re-posting stuff already in the archives. Send email to BLANCHARD-L-request@rootsweb.com with a Subject of archive and a message body of dir latest **** IMPORTANT: do not send requests like this to the list. **** I.e., do not forget to include "-request" in the email address. **** Also, do not append a "signature" to your email. This will get you a list of all the email messages on B-L since the list was moved to Rootsweb. I just did this myself to find out what the message number was for Tom Wilde's note. It turns out the number was 400 (that's the longest message of several posted on Jan 20). Don't be confused by the "alphabetical" ordering of the files in this list -- the file names are just the numbers, so "399" is followed by "4", then "40", and then "400". Given the name (number) of the desired message, the next step is to send another note as before, but with a message body of get latest/400 (or any other file you want). A single message can contain multiple requests, just by including multiple lines in the message body. (This is why you shouldn't include a "signature" in such requests.) John Chandler PS That batch of info from Pat Curry was posted by Tom Wilde in two messages, one on the 20th and another on the 21st. The second part was message 401.
