A friend who is an ardent reader of old newspapers, sent me the following. Fletch Obituary, "The Daily Saratogian", March 1, 1904 George E. Blanchard, an employee of the Baker & Shevlin Company, died of pneumonia at the Saratoga Hospital at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Blanchard, who was 30 years old, came here from Bolton's Landing five months ago. He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blanchard, two brothers and two sisters. The remains were shipped by Undertaker Wiliam L. Thompson on the 10.10 train this morning for Bolton's Landing, where the funeral will be held tomorrow at the residence of his father.
