Hi Elizabeth and All, Welcome Elizabeth to the Blanchard family list. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful posting of your line! It is so nice to see a "Blanchard traveler" so well documented. This was a new line for me, and from John's questions I am assuming new to him as well. I was also pleased to see your use of the index lines as I know how much work it is for Fletcher to have to add those when we exclude them from our posts. You certainly put a lot of work into it. Thanks, I know it will be appreciated by other descendants of this line when they can find information in the data base. On a separate note I wanted to divert slightly and post some info on a new page I just discovered. It can be found at: http://www.zondervan.com/greenzon.htm#graphics I saw a green ribbon icon on a genealogy web page and followed the link to this site. The ribbon is accompanied by the saying, "freedom of speech with responsibility." It is a campaign aimed at reminding us all that with freedom comes the call for personal responsibility. We are reminded that words have the power to hurt and to heal. We are asked to use this freedom responsibly. After pursuing other interests on the Internet I have taken root in the area of genealogy because I have found here such a mutually respectful group of kinfolk, (biologically and spiritually speaking). I don't run around wearing ribbons for every cause that comes along but this one is dear to my heart and my web pages will all sport this one. Sherry
