Since I now have more on my Blanchard ancestry, it time for me to post it to see if anyone connects. My Blanchards were French Canadians. Michel Louis Blanchard dit Renaud (Raynaud/Reneau/Renaut) aka Louis Renaud m. Madeleine Dufresne 19 Feb 1781 in St-Charles sur le Richelieu, Que. Madeleine Dufresne was b. 8 Sep 1758 in St-Charles sur le Richelieu and was the daughter of Jacques Dufresne b. 7 Aug 1719 and Marie-Anne Leduc b. 29 Nov 1727. Louis and Madeleine had 2 known daughters; M. Louise m. Amable Loiselle (Loisel) in 1805 and M. Charlotte m. Francois Archambault 6 Oct 1817. I not only have the younger generations but the ancestry of Madeleine Dufresne which includes much Archambault and many other lines. I have a considerably great deal of history of French Canadians in Quebec and in many cases their origination in France. Does any of this sound familiar or is it of any interest to anyone?
