Hi fellow Acadian Researchers of French origin: Does anyone know of any census taken in Acadia before 1671? Does anyone know of other passenger ship lists, of early Acadians who came to New France in the 1600s, other than of the 'Saint Jehan' in 1636? Any information or sources to research would be very much appreciated. I am researching my husband's paternal BLANCHARD ancestors & maternal LANDRY ancestors that settled in Caraquet, New Brunswick after 1755. Martha from Alberta
