In my notes, I had this person as follows: John-6 BLANCHARD born Salem, Mass., 1776, came to Canada in 1799, founder of Greenbush; About two years after John Blanchard and his wife, Abigail Waite, built their lone cabin by a spring in the bush near Greenbush, John's brother, Aaron Blanchard and his wife, Mabel Lattimer, came over through the forest from Vermont. ------------ The surname of his wife differed from earlier info; "WHITE" rather than "WAITE". Living in Renfrew. ------ The article may have type errors as the birth year of this one noted as Jean (John) Saigon BLANCHARD is not accurate, with the article having "In 1790 an 18-year old immigrant" - this making his birth date ca.1772 and "died at 74 in 1856" - this making his birth date ca.1782 and my original info having him born in 1776. If he were 18 in 1799 (first data), the dates in the message would be more aligned but would have my first data birth year off by 5 years. Also, regarding the above Athrur-9, it is the first time I have noted a female named Keith.
