Hi Rannie I was just checking my mail before sending Martha a thank-you note for posting the John (Jean Saigon) story , and there was your note. I checked my "Cemeteries of Leeds County Publication 80-1" Blanchard Cemetery #75, John Blanchard d. June 22 1856 age 84 years 21 days. I have Abigail Waite Born at Wickford, Rhode Island Feb 10 1767 Daughter of the Rev William Waite and his wife Mary (Nichols) Waite. The Keith Peterson should Keitha Peterson. There are a couple of Keitha’s mentioned Keitha Blanchard wife of Wm Chalmers Sept 6 1877 to June 24 1902. What a difference a little ole “a” makes. I was thrilled that Martha posted this, because as you know I’m not so good at this researching stuff. I finally took an afternoon off and went to our research centre (they are only open twice a week,) and asked about PERSI, The two dear sweet people that were on staff that day said they really didn’t know any thing about PERSI but had heard of them. Every thing I asked about they kept looking up files for Scotland, (too many names the same). While I did enjoy these two people who were trying their best, I knew it wasn’t going to be a great genealogical learning experience for me. This list has been nothing but the best, in learning experiences. Sometimes I think there should be a "Genealogy for Dummies" book, published just for me because I just discovered the 1996 Blanchard files, and they are wonderful to read, but they are not in order and that really gets confusing for me trying to find the answers to some of the questions.
