I have no idea whether he moved to NY or not, but he did marry in Charlton in 1808, and there are no children listed in Charlton for this couple, so it's at least plausible that they moved away. The bride was named Altheda Willard. Age unknown. It would be rash to jump to the conclusion that Charles in Peru, NY was the same as the Charles in Charlton without further evidence. Maybe someone else has some details to add. John
