Hi all- Went to the Buffalo and Erie County Library all day Friday and Saturday to look up my RI Blanchard ancestry. Unfortunately for me, although there are many volumes of references to the MA Blanchards, there were only 2 references of my line. If you ever are in the Buffalo, NY area, you may request a lookup in the Blanchard files at no cost. The volumes are organized in 3 sections: Descendents of Thomas Blanchard Blanchard men A-Z Blanchard Women A-Z There are also misc. papers regarding the Blanchards that Mrs. Bethune had collected form various sources. For most of you, Much of this information is redundant. Basically Mrs. Bethune has consulted many of the resources we have ( ie NEGR, Prov Recolrds, Boston records, etc) and hand written them down in multiple volumes and scraps of paper. They wheeled out an entire cart load for me. It was overwhelming.. therefore, I was not able in this short period of time to do specific lookups. I have hard copies of the lookups you all requested and when I have another chance, will head back to look for you. Happy New Year to all- I'll be hunting again soon!- Susan
