I was forwarded a query dealing with Sarah Blanchard in the following text: In 'Historical and Genealogical Record of the First Settlers of Colchester County', [Nova Scotia] (1873) by Thomas Miller, on pg. 31, it states "Robert, the second son of Alexander and Sarah Miller, was born January 4th, 1828. He was a house-joiner, and removed to New Hampshire, U.S.; and was married there to Sarah Blanchard, of Watertown, Mass., U.S., Feb. 29th 1851, and died March 7th, 1852, aged 23 years." The following was found in the MA. State Archives by the query submitter. Marriage Registration Vol. 61, pg. 155: (29 Feb 1852) Robert MILLER, age 24, born in Nova Scotia, s/o Alexander MILLER; occupation - carpenter; married to Sarah A. BLANCHARD, age 21, born in New Hampshire, d/o M. BLANCHARD. Both Robert and Sarah were living in Watertown, MA. and were married there by Methodist clergyman Rev. M. DWIGHT. It was the first marriage for both. I was also sent the following in the belief this could be the above mentioned Robert due to place and age and date (although the year is different). Death Registration Vol. 76, pg. 124: (7 March 1853) Robert MILLER, age 24, born in Maine, parents names - unknown; occupation - carpenter; marital status - married; cause of death - consumption; place of death - Watertown, MA. ---- I was wondering if anyone was familiar with and /or could tell me more about Sarah. Yours in searching, Rannie Sarah. 1852 m. Watertown, MA. 06.10.1998. Robert {Miller}. 1852 m. Watertown, MA. 06.10.1998.
