In researching the Canadian Virtual War Memorial, I found Edward Sherburne BLANCHARD who died April 24, 1918 in France. Additional information had his mother, Emily, at the time, residing at 221 Dudley St., Roxbury, Mass. Emily, bca.1873, married on Oct.17 or 18, 1894, in Truro, N.S., John Thomas BLANCHARD, bca.1873, and she was the dau/o Samuel and Sarah JOHNSON, of Burnside, Upper Stewiacke, N.S. This couple also had a daughter, Florence Margaret, who had married (--?--) and died prior 1928. Not sure if she went with mother or not. Looking for further information re.
