Frank Dyer is transcribing the Vital Records of Braintree, Massachusetts (1640-1793), Edited by Samuel A. Bates in 1886. If you had early ancestors in this area, you might want to check this. Here is what Frank said in a note to me last week, "This entails putting all Births, Deaths & Marriages into separate databases, and arranging the Surnames & Given Names in alphabetical order. (They are all mixed together in the book). The Vital Records & the "Sprague Collection" compliment each other tremendously. I am uploading this to my web site as time & my health permit." Some of you are familiar with the work that Frank has done to prepare the Waldo Sprague's "cards" as a database. He already has >750K in the "Braintree Births' section of Bates.
