Hello to you all. I've just joined this list. Part of my ancestory is tied up with the BLENCH family. While this is not exactly BLANCHARD it is quite close as many BLENCHes and BLANCHes seemed to change name regularly. My g grandmother was Hannah BLENCH (b 1844, Heworth, DUR, ENG, d 1881 & m Charles BROOKS). Her parents were Robert BLENCH and Elizabeth HARKNESS.
