Hi! According to records I have received from the Cattaraugus County Court House in Little Valley, NY, James died on 17 March 1833. His wife Eunice lived to be a very old lady; her will and inventory information are on file there at the County. I was in hopes this would turn out to be the family of my Matilda Blanchard, who was born 6 Aug 1815, presumably in VT, married Amraphel Russell, son of Benedict Russell who lived in Leon, NY (next door to Conewango), then died 11 Sep 1844. The county people I talked with said they believed all of James and Eunice's children were shown in the records and didn't include my Matilda. So I didn't pursue further, but believe they have several records on the family you seek.
