Hi All, This one has been rewarding. Hiram held a respected position in Bradford and I have long wondered where he fit in. It is interesting that there was a Hiram about the same age born in Hopkinton, NH who I had seen in passing and assumed they were the same. Not so and I have a little more on the Ancestry that unfortunately goes beyond the scope of our work. David died in Acworth Oct 30th 1877 age 89y. 7m. 7d.. He was born in Shutesbury, MA and his parents were Joseph and Relief Blanchard. Joseph was also born in Shutesbury. David was married at the time of his death and he is listed as a farmer. This is from his death certificate from NH VR. Does anyone have David's wife or any more VR's on them? TRVR means the Bradford Town Report Vital records and the year is that of the Vital Record, which is reported in the Town Report of the following year.
