Nathan BLANCHARD Nathan Blanchard, son of David Sr. and Margaret (DOLLIVER) BLANCHARD was b. 30 Jun 1772 in Wilton, NH [NHVR]. He m. 2 Jul 1795 Anna SAWYER of Hopkinton, NH [NHVR]. She was b. 18 Mar 1773 [HennHist:462]. Nathan, yeoman was of Bradford in 1794 when he bought land from Benjamin Thompson Rideout of Bradford with David Blanchard, Jr. witness [HillsDeeds39:10]. In 1803 he was of Hopkinton, a husbandman when he sold the land to George Addison of Hopkinton [HillsDeeds58:342]. It is reported in the Henniker History that he lived there shortly after his marriage. He d. 24 Sept 1806 in Henniker by drowning in the Contoocook River in a logging accident [NHVR]. She m. 1 Jun 1828 Samuel Blanchard [HennHist:463]. Nathan, b. 1 Oct 1802 perhaps in Henniker [HopVRv2:98] and d. 24 Mar 1862, a farmer in Hillsboro aged 59y. 5m. 23d. [NHVR]. He m. 1st 16 Oct 1828 in Weare, Mehitable of Hopkinton, dau of Aaron and Betty (KILBURN) HOYT b. ca 1804 [NHVR]. He m. 2nd Abigail Adams of Henniker [HennHist:463].
