    3. New member of your elite group and have been told how helpful each of you are. I am trying to trace backward an elusive gentleman by the name of James Blanchard. By early census records, to shows he was born ca. 1780/90 somewhere in Va. He was in Va. long enough to have married a Eunice____and had a first son named Hiram Blanchard. Then between 1818 and 1820, for some reason the family moved to Conewango Co. New York near the town of Leon. The family grew and they seemed to have stayed in the New York area for some time. We think James died about 1833 in Conewango Co. N.Y. area. His children were: Emera James Blanchard Hiram Blanchard Solotus Blanchard Emeline Blanchard Henrietta Blanchard Lucinda J. Blanchard If anyone can find information on James, it would be deeply appreciated. Later, by the way, the direct family moved, pre-civil war, to Wisonsin and then later in Minnesota, but need help on the early wanderings of the family. Thank you in advance.
