May 22, 2002 Update: This week we have received back from the lab the results on all of the 12-marker "Y" chromosome DNA tests and part of the 21-marker tests that were at the FTDNA lab. We have one participant who's kit has not made it to the lab at this date. The results are posted at the website link shown below. As of today we have the following families represented: John Blakely/Elizabeth Smith - 3 participants John Blakely/Rachel Orr - 1 participant Samuel Blakeslee/Blakeley 1672 England>CT, USA - 2 participants Robert Blakely/Sarah Campbell - 1 participant Benjamin Beach Blakeslee/?? - 1 participant The following surnames are in our project so far: Blakely, Blakeslee, Blakley and Blakeley. This project is for all spelling variations of our surname. It is desirable but not necessary to have two or more participants of a particular family.
