I think there may be a connection. My Horace Blakesley was born in 1865 in NEw Orleans, La. He married Allene (Aline)Fiegel Miller Blakesley. She is my ggrand mother. There is some connection to Sterling, though. I can't remember it at this time, but will look it up. In one of the census' here it shows a Helen Blakesley who was a granddaughter I believe.
