I have been told that Samuel Blakesley (1624-1672) married Sarah Kimberly. They had a son, Tilley Blakeslee, born on March 18, 1705, in New Haven, CT. Tilley married Mary Brown. They had a son, Jonathan Blakeslee born in about 1732 in New Haven County, CT. Jonathan married Hannah Todd. Their son, Ezra Blakesley was born on February 11, 1760, in New Milford, CT. Ezra married Sarah Deming in about 1788 in the Town(ship) of Manchester, Bennington County, VT. Ezra died in about 1840 in Perry, Genesse County, NY. Sarah died inabouit 1845, in Perry, Wyoming County, NY. (Yes the county was divived in 1841.) Their children born in the Town of Manchester, Bennington County, VT: (1) Abel Blakesley born September 20, 1789. (2) David Blakesley born on March 18, 1792. (3) Hannah Blakesley born on June 8, 1797. (4) Ruby Blakesley born on December 15, 1803. (5) Sarah Blakesley born in about 1806. ? this data represents an amazing feat. It would seem Samuel would have been approximately 80 years old when Tilley was born.
