I was on a visit to Plesseys in Towcester, but that was long before I started doing genealogy. I'm about to look at parish registers,and I'll certainly look at Northamptonshire. I recently got a Blatchley to test his DNA and I'm looking for anyone else with a name like ours who might have a trace back several centuries to submit his DNA for testing. I have shown that I possess the DNA of Samuel Blakeslee. If someone's test results match mine, then he and I have a common ancestor. How far have you gotten back in the area around Guildford, Surrey. That is a likely place for Samuel's origin, since he went to Guilford, Connecticut. Gene
