I've just started research on my Blakesley line. I'm trying to find parents and birthplace for PomRoy Blakesley, born appro. August 1871 in Ohio. He was supposedly orphaned very young. I found him at 8 years old as a boarder to Robert Lee in York Twp., Elkhart Co., Indiana, in the 1880 census. He could have a brother and a sister. He married Elizabeth Zimmerlie in Mar 1895.
