All the BLAKESLEYS I can trace come from NORTHAMPTONSHIRE, from the village of OLD (spelt WOLD earlier than mid-nineteenth century), but . Many migrated to BRADFORD in West Yorkshire from around the 1860s, but I believe that some moved to the DEWSBURY area possibly as early as the 1820s. I can find no obvious connection.
