Catherine was only 2 months old and living in New Jersey. But 2 months prior, she was born in New York, according to census. Did you look in New York for John H Blair in 1840? Do you know if John H and Maria were married in New York? I did a quick search for marriage records in New York and didn't find any. But a quick search rarely comes up with much for me. Will you tell me where John H and Maria were in 1860 & 1870? Still Fairfax county? Who were their other children? I will see if I can help you figure out who the parents of John H might be.
