He died 10 Jan 1840 in Gateshead England. The death certificate shows him being 41 yrs old and a tailor. He was married to Mary Ann Whinnem 04 Jun 1836 in Wallsend England.The marriage stated they were both of this parish. They had one daughter born 26 Sep 1829 in Gateshead England and her name was Ann Dixon Douglas Blair. She died in 18 Jun 1858 in Newcastle England and was not married. I believe the Dixon or Douglas could be either John's mother or grandmother's maiden name. Would appreciate any help.
