She was born 1869 Texas and has 2 brothers Jim 1871 and Bill 1876. The letter states that the were traveling with their race horse Joe Blair and the family thinks that was the fathers name as well and he was born in Ireland. The parents died in 1879 and it is said grandpa Pickard came to Texas and sold the family belongings, gave part of the money to another family to take Bill and he took Annie and Jim, there is a 1880 census where Annie and Jim are living with Thomas Pickard and are listed as orphans. This leads us to believe the mothers maiden name is Pickard. That is where it dead ends. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
