In my last post I said Alexander Blair, born 1724, Kilwinning. That should have read Archibald Blair, Alexander's father. This Alexander was born 1774 from Archibald's second wife Margaret Muir. He married Mary rankin in 1795. I'm not sure of his place of birth (possibly Kilwinning) but most of his siblings were born in Dalry Archibald had two brothers that I know of, Mathew and Hugh, but there is very little information on them and nothing on marriages or children.
