Hi everyone! I have just subscribed to this list in order to try to sort out my ancestry. My Blair family seems to have been in Hardin Co., KY for several generations. My paternal great-grandfather is James Sylvester Blair (born 1888)who married Lucy Belle Atcher. Information from family members indicates that the father of James Sylvester is John Sylvester Blair (born 1824). It seems that there may be a generation missing -- given the almost 60 year gap between these two. In addition, a wonderful volunteer did some research at the Stovall United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hardin County,and found a John T. Blair (born 1861), and wife Jesse Kendall Blair, -- buried with other family members, causing me to wonder if this may be the missing "link" in the chain. Does anyone have information on my family?
