I am from the Line of Lot Blair and Mary Ann Dowler Blair. I made a trip to WVA and to Moundsville hoping to discover James Blair's parents and Amelia Hagerman's parents but came up empty from there. I do know she was his second wife and the will lists the children that were living at the time of probate. His will by the way was under James Blare. I discovered a letter from a cousin in Ohio where Lot and Mary Ann migrated that says the Blairs were from Maryland. Have not been able to confirm or negate this. I gained my big info from the DAR applicant and approval of James as a Rev soldier. What descendent became the minister? Any more light you could give would be a real boon. Thanks.
