    3. Does anyone know anything about the Israel Blair or John Blair listed below? If the enlistment records are right, my John Blair went to Harrisburg from Lancaster County and enlisted for an area in York County where he was not living at the time. Someone said to check if anyone else with the same last name enlisted about the same time and place as some families enlisted in the same company to be with family and friends. Israel B. Blair was a Sergeant in the 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry, Company I. He enlisted February 15, 1864 and was promoted to Corporal, February 21, 1864, promoted to Sergeant, July 29, 1864, and mustered out with Company, July 8, 1865. John Blair, Blacksmith, 21st PA Cavalry, Company I, enlisted February 11, 1864, promoted to Blacksmith, February 21, 1864, missing in action at Bellefield, VA on December 10, 1864.
