When I found the Pace family also was listed on an Indian registry, I thought I had found the answer to my grandmother's having a Cherokee Native American mother. According to her oldest son, my uncle, he told us this about Sarah S. A. E. Blair, my great grandmother. My grandmother said nothing about it as being part native American was considered a shame.
