His grandmother was we believe was Jessie P Blair. According to Jessie's marriage to Thomas Lowrie Braid in 1914 in Kirkentilloch her parents were George Blair and Grace Cannon. I have been unable to find a Jessie P Blair with these parents but did find one in the right area with a James Blair and Jessie Paterson as parents born 1897 Kirkentilloch.
