Could this be the Columbus mentioned?? McCormick CO contained the old Belfast township that William and George got land grants in 1766. James Blair and his wife Elizabeth Cleveland had a son named Cleveland Blair born 1783 and died 1858.  I will have to check my records, but I believe the town of Cleveland, Texas is named for him.
