His first marriage (under the name of Frank Blair Lowenthal in Alameda County, California) was to Catherine Aundra Frederica Sigesmund Beyer in 1906. They had a son named Frank Blair in 1907. In the 1910 Alameda County census he had dropped the name "Lowenthal." In 1920 he married my grandmother, Dorothea Hansen, in Merced, California, and they had my dad, Donald, in 1923. Frank was a machinist all his life and worked around shipyards. His father's name may have been Joe, but we don't know for sure. I'd love to know who his parents were and where he was born! I've been looking for years. He may have been an orphan or run away from home at an early age. Any information you could provide would be much appreciated. Thank you! Sue Blair in California
